1. Heat oven to 350°F. Set aside 3/4 cup toffee bits.
2. Beat butter in large bowl until creamy; add brown sugar, egg yolk and vanilla; beat until blended. Using spoon, mix in flour, remaining toffee bits and pecans. Press into ungreased 15-1/2×10-1/2×1-inch jelly-roll pan.
3. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until browned. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle reserved 3/4 cup toffee bits over top. Cool slightly. Cut into bars while warm. Cool completely.
